Terms of Service
Last updated 26 August 2026
These terms cover your use of GazeFix. By creating an account or uploading a video, you agree to them.
The service
GazeFix takes a video you upload and uses AI to redirect your gaze towards the camera. Results depend on your footage — lighting, resolution, how far your eyes are from the lens — and we can't promise a particular outcome on any given clip. If you're unsure, email us a sample before buying credits.
Your account
You need an account, a valid email address, and you must be at least 16. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
Credits and payment
GazeFix is pay-as-you-go. One credit corrects one minute of video, and partial minutes round up — a 90-second clip costs two credits. You're charged when a job is submitted.
Credits never expire. They're tied to your account and can't be transferred or exchanged for cash.
If a correction fails, your credits are returned automatically. You are not charged for a job that didn't produce a result.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Beyond the automatic refund above, credit purchases are non-refundable once credits are used — but if something has gone wrong, email us and we'll deal with it sensibly. Nothing here affects consumer guarantees you have under Australia law.
Your video stays yours
You keep all rights to the footage you upload and to the corrected result. You give us only the narrow permission needed to run the service: to store your file, send it to our processing provider, produce the corrected version, and return it to you.
We do not use your video to train models, and we do not use it for marketing unless you explicitly tell us we can.
What you may not upload
You must have the right to upload the footage, and permission from anyone appearing in it. You may not use GazeFix to:
- alter footage of someone who hasn't consented to it being altered;
- create material intended to deceive people about what someone said or did;
- process sexual content, or any footage involving minors;
- break the law, infringe someone's copyright, or harass anyone;
- attempt to overload, reverse-engineer or circumvent limits on the service.
We may suspend or close accounts that do these things. Where a closure is our decision and you haven't breached these terms, we'll refund unused credits.
Availability
GazeFix is provided as-is. We aim to keep it running but don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice and refund unused credits.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profits, lost opportunities, or the cost of re-shooting footage. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ending your account
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may close an account that breaches these terms. On closure we delete your stored video; unused credits are forfeited unless we closed the account without cause.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we'll email account holders about anything significant. Continuing to use GazeFix after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and disputes go to the courts there.
